Garden themed party ideas?

this years party theme is garden/gardening. we have a pool so dont need activities but looking for decoration ideas. we dont really have trees to hang things from. plan on using planters for utensil holders, etc. usually bout 75-100 people, 20 or so of them kids aged 4-11. looking for easy menu ideas. usually do dogs/burgers. we've been on tight budget last 2 years but its the only time all our friends get together all at once. i like to change up side dishes based on theme. last year did a 24th of july party(held it on the 24th but did like an old school americana, potato salad macaroni salad dogs/burgers, lemonade etc plus got decorations after the 4th of july on clearance) garden theme this year sending kids home w/pots and soil and seeds. plan to do ants on a log etc for snacks for kids. other ideas? decoration or food? thanks!!!
