How to do people live like this?

i just now have a job and i am paying 200 in rent a month only for this month next month i have to move into my own apartment because i am having issues here. do this do that i am tired of doing chores her daughter doesnt even do. i only make 7.75 an hour and i work around 32 hours to 40. i have phone bill of 130 and credit bill of 160 and car insurance at 71 and rent of course. how do people do it. how do they live on their own on this income. i literally have 1 dollar in my bank account my car has no gas. tomorrow is pay day yay! and out of the 279 i might get( they been cheating me out on pay) 149 goes to a phone bill and 100 for the other half of rent. leaving me with yeah. 30 dollars. and gas alone is 30 dollars for that week and so once again i have no money for food and can only afford to eat once in a while. am i doing something wrong? i need my own place which will be around 500. plus all my bill now.how do people do it. i dont buy clothes or other unnecessary things. i cant even go out once in a while. i dont smoke or drink. this will be my third pay check. i want to be able to afford at least kitchen utensils . how do people do this?
