I will be moving and can only take a few things with me. Please help me compile a list of must-haves..?

I will be driving cross-country in a small car. I can only take the most needed items at this time. Blankets, pillows, towels, a few kitchen utensils, toiletries, clothes, shoes, important documents... Am I forgetting anything?
