Weird taste in my mouth!!?

when ever i put utensils like a spoon or fork in my mouth, i taste something wierd, like iron or another metal. my gums arent bleeding, and there is no cut in my mouth. i do know that i have high iron. am i just tasting the utensils or is something else going on
