Whenever I cook chicken at home, I get really bad gas the next day. What gives?

I cook it thoroughly, and it's been cooked in a variety of ways : oven, frying pan, grill. I've also used many different types of chicken from different stores. I also only use a utensil for putting it in the pan, and then don't use that one again.Any thoughts?
