Will a little bit of beer hurt my dog?

I was just opening a beer and it needed a bottle opener (which I didn't have) so I was trying different kitchen utensils to open it and when I finally got it open, I spilled some (less than an ounce) and before I even had a chance to grab a towel, my 20lb dog licked it up. Will he be ok? I read somewhere that hops are bad for dogs. But it is a shitty light domestic beer so hopefully it doesn't have a lot of hops; it's not bitter. He seemed to love it.
