Our new dog is confusing me...?

Is it dangerous for your own health to feed your messy cat raw meat?

I've tried to switch my cat to a raw food diet (using frozen, raw meat specially packaged for cats). I know normal raw meat "hygiene", like washing my hands, utensils, and counters after touching it, but what about the fact that my cat is getting the meat all over herself, then walking around the whole house? first my probation officer issues a warrant for my arrest; 2 hours later i show up to his office. he tells me i have not paid on my fines($1933.00) and i failed to report.so, i get arrested and he told me sense i completed my community service( which i volunteered for) i can bond out in means of paying my entire fine(cash only). so, my mom managed to pay my fine given that i'm in college and she didn't want me to be dropped from school. now that i'm released from jail my probation officer told me i still have to go to court to revoke my conditional discharge. now let me state the facts, on January 3,2010 i was arrested for shoplifting,obstruction, and false information to a police officer. yes! indeed this was very stupid, however the judge felt that since it was my first time in trouble and i was still in high school with good grades she gave me a second chance. i was given 2 years probation and if i completed it, my record will continue to stay clear. i must admit my probation officer has been very patient with me, however, i live in a very small town in south Georgia; so getting a job was very difficult and majority of the first year of my probation i was pregnant. all i have positive in my life is that i'm in college with a gpa of 3.3. i have hopes of graduating with a b.a. in sociology and to become a social worker, juvenile counselor or probation officer. besides that while i'm getting my degree i want to join the army and learn about information technology and hopefully get a couple of certifications to become a computer specialist or something of that nature. i go to court July 19 to see if i am able to keep my conditional discharge so my record will remain clear. my question is what usually happens at the revocation hearing? and if the judge does decide to take away my conditional discharge will i still be able to enlist in the army? what can i possibly say or do to keep this conditional discharge?

Why do i sleep 12+ hours everyday?

If i'm allowed to sleep in, like I am now because of summertime, i'll always sleep about 12 or more hours and its eating away at my time. During the school year, i thought my body just did that so i can get back some of the sleep i miss during weekdays ( i slept like 5-6 hours or less) but now its summer and i can't even get up before noon. Like even if i set an alarm and put it across the room, i'll somehow convince myself to get up and walk all the way across the room turn it off and go back to sleep, and i'd be okay with, then when i'd wake up later i'd be pissed that i didn't wake up. I was going through my back pack trying to find some writing utensils so I could draw and a certain paper fell out of one of my folders (It's summer now) and I remembered this. Do you think this is a fair way for my mom to make me spend my summer?

So, I'm a fourteen year old girl (I will be a freshman in the fall) and I am staying home all day every day to watch my younger brother. My parents divorced at the beginning of this year and my mom got a full time job. Now, she's out of the house from 7 'til 6 and it's my responsibility to watch my 11 year old brother. Honestly, at 11 years old, I'd figure he's okay to stay home alone for a few hours while I go out with my friends or something. However, I'm never allowed to go out. This includes when my brother goes out with his friends. My mom says I need to stay home in case something happens and he has to come home. She wont let me join my school tennis team, which I had been training for all year, in August because practice is four hours a day every weekday for two weeks before school. I think this is unreasonable because I have rides etc but she thinks my brother is incapable of staying home alone at this age (she would leave me home alone for hours at a time when I was younger than him, and my brother is not at all destructive or anything that should cause her to worry). Even leaving him alone for a half an hour stresses her out. Is there anything I can do to convince her to let me go out with my friends and not spend my entire summer locked up in the house? I been friends with these two girls for a while. The first one lets call her sandra, had been my best friend since we were in middle school. I am a 13 year old female, and so you know what you are answering, I have pretty much an adult maturity level. I can definately be trusted by others who know me. I am a straight A+ student for the most part and consider myself very respectful and thoughtful. I have been doing research for a past 2 years now into care and possible problems, how to fix them and how to prevent them.I want this not to be popular or follow a trend, not for attention, not even really for expression( how can you really express feelings by a hole in your body? Tattoos, maybe but not this) This is what I want purely for aesthetic reasons. I know my tastes may change, but if they do I can take the piercings out. The same principle applies to jobs, careers, etc. I feel like scars won't matter because they will remind me of more fun, more youthful times in my life when I could do things like this. I also feel that no matter what, I will be comfortable in my skin. To give you a clue about my personality, I am the shy, semi anti-social type with somewhat odd, contradictory interests that doesn't give a hoot about it when people judge me, but I still try to stay respectful and not judge other people or be rude to them. Confidence is key. I would also, however, like to understand reasons why people would say no to a peircing. 'You're too young" is much too vague, IMO. What should I do about my in-laws visit?

This is very hard to write, but it is the truth. I am currently visiting the city where my husband grew up in. His parents are elderly, and are not used to going anywhere. They have a huge family, but there is a problem. My in-laws are filthy people. They do not bathe, ever, and do not even use the air conditioning in their house. They live in complete squalor & filth. There are roaches everywhere in the house, even crawling over their utensils. I was horrified the first time I went. My husband has tried to get them to bathe, but they refuse. They have never liked bathing, so it isn't because they are old. My husband had a special shower stall built for them in their home, so they wouldn't have to climb over a tub. They won't use it. I am very concerned, because he is bringing them to stay in our small one bedroom apartment. They are going to sleep on our bed, with our clean linen, and they won't bathe! They literally stink, and my husband won't tell them anything. I want them to bathe everyday that they are there, but I don't it is going to be a battle. One time my father in law even had a roach egg growing on his scrotum. My mother in law popped it, and a bunch of little bugs crawled out. That is how dirty there people are! I am very scared they are going to infest our apartment with body lice. I don't know what to do, and I am stressed out beyond belief. My husband has done all he can do. None of his brothers, or sister give a crap about the condition they live in. They are used to it. I am going to have to spend a week with them in our apartment entertaining them, and smelling them. In-custody time instead of work release?

I was recently fighting a case in one county and another case in a different county. Both cases I plead guilty. I was sentenced to 120 days work release in one county and 30 days work release in the other. This means I have to do work release 4 days out of the week because I have to do 2 days a week for each county and they can't be on the same days. That would only leave me 3 days to go to work. My employer wouldn't be happy with that type of inconvinient schedual...but that's not a problem anymore because they fired me for missing so much work already due to all my court hearings. Now I can't even afford to pay the fee to sign up for the work release. I'm over it. I would rather serve my sentences in jail now. And I don't really have much of achoice anyway I guess. So can someone tell me how to go about asking for the in-custody time instead of the work release? Do I talk to my probation officer or go put myself on calendar and ask the judge or what? Anyone that can let me know, ide appreciate it a lot. Thanks. (I live in california also..if that's important)

If an attorney submits an incorrect final order then what?

After a long drawn out process my ex and I finally came to an agreement. We put the agreement on record with the family court, and both dismissed any further pleadings against the other. Now his attorney submitted the order, but seemingly left out or altered everything my ex was to do. Now I have a court order that gives him everything he wanted, and all of my wishes were left out or wording altered to mean something else. My attorney is filing to have the judge look at the order and see if they will agree to revise it. My question is has anyone else delt with this and if so what was the outcome? Should I abide by our agreement that we entered into record with the court or the one his attorney submitted in the mean time? Oh by the way South Carolina law gives the attorney 30 days to submit the final order, and he waited 4 months!!!!I know what I need to do and am doing it, but just looking for someone who has delt with this, and wondering what their outcome was. Pimple size clear bumps with brown spots in the middle?

For the past couple of months I have been getting these small pimple size bumps under my skin on my hands and fingers. They are clear and have brown spots on the inside of them. They are not red and do not itch. With pressure they hurt so it is sometimes hard to use an eating utensil depending on where the bumps pop up. Day care rates for two children, after school only?

My husband and I have agreed that I will not be starting college until our two children are in school full time. My husband and I plan to send our children to a private school which gets out at 3. Why are my parents so hard on me?!?

So, I am 17 years old and I have been dating this guy for the past 6 months. Your school librarian and art teacher might have given you some ideas. Your science teacher could have helped if he or she thought you were really trying. The answer to your question is get ready to repeat your grade and deal with angry parents. It's not possible to do this in 4 hours without having the basic tools. What kind of dog should i get?

Hello my name is Julio and I'm wanting to get a dog. My brother is going to be moving to college next year and my parents will be working during the weekdays, so i will be lonely after school. I was wondering what a nice dog for me would be. Question about Splash Country in Pigeon Forge and Dixie Stampede?

How good is the food at the Stampede? I've heard it was excellent from some and it was awful from some. About Splash Country, my feet are really bad about blisters so do people usually wear flip flops to walk through the park? I'm also really particular about going barefoot because I really don't want plantar warts either. Is the park usually crowded on weekdays? I cant stand it when people eat and make noise on the dish!!! HELPP?

I cannot stand it when i hear people eating, not saying hate when people eat but i hate the noise forks, spoons or knifes make on the plate/bowl when people eat. I get this feeling inside of me i just want to cry haha, i guess its a really really bad pet peeve. That noise even wakes me up in the morning and I am actually to the point of buying reusable plastic utensils of my family to use my pet peeve has gotten so bad. My friend was the victim of a serious crime. The defendant was found guilty at a crown court by a jury. The person responsible has to return to the court in a month for sentencing. How do I keep myself from getting sleepy during the day?

When I'm trying to re-establish my sleep/wake schedule, I do anything that will keep me out of bed. For example, even if I'm really sleepy, I can still play computer games and eat. I know, not particularly productive, but at least I stay out of bed. I let myself do whatever I want for a few days, as long as I don't crawl back into bed. I find that after a few days, my brain gets used to the idea that I am going to be awake between so-and-so hours. It does actually work!! All the best!!

This is going to sound blunt, and I'm sorry for that, but she's not that into you. She knows that you're interested, but she's made no attempts to progress the relationship. She doesn't want a relationship with you and I would suspect that she's subconsciously using you to replace the relationship she lost earlier in the year. My advice would be for you to break away--don't cut her out of your life, but start spending less time with her. Meet someone new.
