How can I ship my stuff across the U.S.?

I am moving from Georgia to Washington in a couple months. I have mine and my boyfriends things to move (our wardrobes, a bed, a microwave, a desk, some kitchen stuff...dishes, utensils, coffee pot, etc). I know I can drive a U-Haul across the country, but we're both pretty young and not sure if we're up for that. I'm thinking more along the lines of someone else moving it for us...like a moving company or having it flown or something. I would like to know if someone can give me some ideas or links of some companies or pricing options or things of that sort. Anything will help. Thanks in advance!
