Is it dangerous for your own health to feed your messy cat raw meat?

I've tried to switch my cat to a raw food diet (using frozen, raw meat specially packaged for cats). I know normal raw meat "hygiene", like washing my hands, utensils, and counters after touching it, but what about the fact that my cat is getting the meat all over herself, then walking around the whole house? I couldn't possibly disinfect her pathway around the house after every meal. And what about when she tries to lick my face after eating? Help!
