Christians: Does God add time into his foreshadowings and prophecies of Messiah, or is time irrelevant to Him?

And if time is irrelevant to Him, why are His holy days "moedim," which means "appointed times?" If He doesn't want us to concern ourself with time, why is He so meticulous with time in Scripture, even listing one chain of genealogy by years and in listing the years of judges and kings? Why did He proclaim 490 years (70x7 weeks) before the first coming of Messiah? If God listed the times throughout Scripture, and warned the people with time....such as 400 years servitude to Egypt and 70 years captivity to Babylon.....why would He change when it comes to the Apocalypse?
